Dear Willow (3 Months)

Dear Willow, You have had a very busy month! You went on your very first road trip and celebrated your very first Thanksgiving! You were an absolute dream on the road trip, you were such a trooper and hardly fussed at all. The final day I could tell you were over your car seat but you toughed it out. For Thanksgiving you didn't get to actually enjoy the food first hand but mommy made sure she stuffed her face so you could get a taste of some of it in your milk.

At three months...
-You have definitely found your hands and like to stuff them in your mouth
- You are a drooling monster
- You weigh well over 13 lbs
- You are wearing some of your 3 month clothes still but are mostly into your 3-6 month outfits.
- You sleep most of the night now. You wake up at 4am usually every night and than it varies when you wake next. But we usually all sleep in until 9 or 10.
- You love to smile all of the time, you are such a ham
- I think you are starting to teeth because sometimes you let out a blood curdling scream and quickly put your fist in your mouth. This hurts mama's heart when you do this because I feel so helpless. The teething soother Auntie Kelly got for you seems to soothe you a bit.
- You always bring your blankies up to your face and nestle right in. You love the softness.
- You love to talk
- You are very ticklish
- You can hold yourself up almost by yourself. You are so strong. You are always working out those abs and curling yourself up
- You still aren't a hug fan of tummy time so we only practice that for a minute at a time. Mama doesn't like seeing you get frustrated.
- Your eyes are still blue
- Your hair is auburn
-You love story time. We can usually get through three books until you lose interest
- You are definitely dads mini-me

How could I ever choose just one picture?

  1. ugh, three months is THE BEST!!! aren't they the cuddliest roly-poliest darlings?! it's so fun to see willow's progress; what a good happy beautiful little babe she is. once again there are so many similarities: lucy also is verrry ticklish, doesn't like tummy time and only practices a few minutes at a time, and also likes to listen to about three books at a time which i think is quite focused for such a young'un!
