27 Weeks

Size: Baby is this size of a head of cauliflower. He weighs almost 2lbs (I think he is almost 5) and is about 14.5 inches long.

I am ready to stop growing. Everyone who sees me comments about how massive I am and what I will look like 10 weeks from now. hahaha, such a scary thought!

Symptoms: I really need to go for that massage, my back is terribly sore all of the time.
That pregnancy insomnia is starting to kick in. I have a hard time falling asleep and when I finally do I wake up a few hours later and this seems to happen in 2 hour intervals. My body and Willow are preparing me for what life is going to be like in a couple of months.

Movements: All day/night. He likes to wake me up at 12:30 for a little dance party.

Mood : Feeling great, just so over being pregnant already. I want to meet this babe!!

Maternity Clothes: Its been cool these past couple of days so I have been sporting my maternity jeans  and long flowy shirts. I definitely need to invest in a new rain jacket as there is no way my jacket is zipping over this belly.

Take Your Wife To Work

You know when you go for a work ride along with your husband and get to stay in their amazing work float house? You travel by boat for about an hour taking in all of the beautiful scenery. The eagles soaring past, the sea lions playing about, and that fresh air blasting you in in the face. You just feel so alive.

This place is hands down the most relaxing place I have been to. It is located in The Broken Group Islands and is freaking gorgeous. A floating cabin in a b-e-a-utiful bay with nothing around except water, trees, fishes jumping, birds singing, herons hunting and raccoons scavenging. Basically my heaven.

Jon and his coworker left me at the cabin to go and do a patrol and I was able to fully relax. I haven't been able to do that in sometime and boy oh boy did it ever feel great!

You must bring the necessities: cell phone (instagram), a book, sunglasses, camera, bathing suit, nail polish, and a skirt.

Waking up to this view ain't so bad

My Bathroom for number ones, luckily I wasn't to pregnant and I didn't fall in. There is an outhouse for number two's.

Nerds

If you look closely you will see a raccoon on your left. The raccoon tried to actually steal the herons fish at one point.

Watching herons hunt is kind of my favourite

Seriously

Picking out which beach I wanted to explore

26 Weeks

Size: baby is the length of a green onion. I am the size of a manatee. The pictures don't show my true size, I really am quite big in real life.

Symptoms: I have a bleeding nose most mornings. My back is pretty darn sore most days. Jon bought me a massage for Mother's Day that I haven't used and a facial for our Anni. I feel a spa day is in order in the near future!

I am hot all of the time. Normally I have the opposite issue and am always frozen.

Movement: this little guy is still a crazy ninja fool. So set times, mostly just all day and night. Not sure if he ever sleeps or if he is just super active when he is sleeping. Willow still hasn't felt any kicks but Jon has felt plenty.

Maternity Clothes: duh! I have two pairs of jeans that I rotate all of the time. This hot hot heat we have been having has had me throwing on dresses as of late.

Cravings: ice cream and bagels with cream cheese.

Weight: I haven't looked at a scale yet, I am much to afraid!

My face is a tad constipated bc Willow started running into the woods at that moment. But there he is buried in all that dress

Sproat Lake

I went a little nuts taking pics of my babes, but seriously how could I not. That place and my family... I am one lucky lady!

Hornby Island

We decided to cruise across the island and head to another teeny island called Hornby. I was there 10 years ago and I fell in love with the place and could not wait to show Jon. On that side of the island it is much warmer than our side. It was only 24c/25c and we were sweating our bums off. Like some serious sweaty disgusting messes. We hit up the beach, played in the sea and relaxed....so good.

We finished off the day picking up the most delish pizza and lemonade from the Cardboard House bakery. We devoured it while we waited for our ferry. I can't wait to for our next adventure there and to introduce Willow to it this time. We definitely have much more exploring to do!
