Dear Sawyer (3 Months)

Dear Sawyer,

You got your first shots this past month and boy oh boy were you ever sad about it. You started screaming when the Nurse and Willow rubbed alcohol on your leg. You slept for two days straight after that traumatic experience!

- you weigh 17lbs and are wearing 6-12 month clothes. No one believes me when I tell them you are only 3 months. You are in the 97th percentile for length, 90th for weight, and 50th for head circumference. Poor little peanut head!

- you are so so sensitive.  Your dad & I got in a heated discussion about hiking trails and you lost your marbles. We weren't even yelling, you could feel the tension and you didn't like it one bit.

- you are so smiley. I can't look down and smile at you when you are nursing because then you won't eat and just smile up at me instead.

- you are very ticklish, I can get some good laughs out of you when I tickle you under your armpits or your neck.

- you think the dogs and your big sis are hilarious. They are always are making you laugh

- you win for being the most chill baby (except to loud sounds, tension & needles). You are always so content and happy

- you love being held and cuddled

- you are hooked on the dreaded binky. You also love your little lamb stuffy but we don't have a name for him yet. You love having your lamb right up against your face when you sleep. You are identical to your sis!

-  your coos are ridiculously adorable

-you can now reach for your toys and show interest in them. Everything goes straight into the mouth

- you are trying so hard to sit up on your own

STOP GROWING!!

We love you to the moon and back Sawyer Henry xoxoxox

The Best

You know that friend that is the absolute best and you love them just as much as you love your family? Well I am one lucky son of a gun because I don't just have one I have a couple! These girls have stood by this gypsies side for 20 years now and I couldn't be more grateful.

They came out for a wee little visit and it was just a tease, I wanted to keep them here forever and ever. We drank, we ate, we drank, we walked, we ate, and we ate and it was fab-u-lous. Kate cooked for us the entire time and they both helped out with the kiddies so much that I felt like I was on a little vacay as well!

Thank You both so much for coming out, please please please come back soon! xoxoxoxoxox

Willow & Her New Wheels

It was a big day over here yesterday, little Miss Willow received her very own bike! She was super stoked to try it out! I would say she only lasted about ten minutes on it and then had a major meltdown, but the bike riding was darn cute while it lasted!! (Sawyer was super proud of his sis as well)

Whales Hugging The Coast

We love this area so very much but it's nice to go on an adventure every once in awhile . We decided to take a drive and just turn down some random logging roads to see where they would lead, we ended up being only a 10 minute boat ride from home (craaaaazaaaay adventure)  but the drive took us 40 minutes. Peanuts, as it takes us over an hour to get to the closest city. We obviously ended up on a beach, and just as I was about to unpack our stuff I noticed whales off in the distance. I am OBSESSED with all things wild and whales make me so so soooo happy. Jon ended up working, Willow played in her "princess fort", Sawyer slept, and I watched whales all day long. They were quite aways away, but I enjoyed watching them immensely.

The whales are currently hugging the West Coast and feeding on all of the yummy herring. Could someone please buy me a boat or a kayak or a something to get me a wee bit closer? Thanks!!!

She thought the sea sponge smelled better then the smoke from the fire
Not my greatest photos, they were a wee bit to far away. But there were at least a dozen of them in that area. So beautiful!!
