Bitches Be Bitches

So it's totally obvious just how much I am in love with my dogs right? Just scroll down and you'll see every second post involves one of my dogs. I am a totally crazed dog freak. Welllllll this week I was so furious with them, and dog crazed but not in a good way. J is away for training and I am working full time so my pooches aren't used to spending 8 whole hours away from us. J usually comes home for lunch for a quick play which makes it a little easier on them. Well their was no quick plays this week and that made them angry....

It's actually worse then it looks. The top part of our loveseat need to be covered by blankets as the ripped the top of the right side open.

They also ripped apart the bottom of my ottoman, got into the bathroom garbage (I forgot to close the door one day :(, pooped on the floor, chewed up a matt... and the list goes on. The moral of the story, they must be kenneled. No free range of the house when we are not home ANYMORE!

Cake Batter

Earmuffs Lily and Maple. I saw the cutest dog in life on my quest to indulge in a full like it size of cake batter ice cream with snickers and m&m's so perfectly smushed in @ Cold Stone Creamery. Nothing, I mean nothing gets in the way of filling my body with over 1000 calories of pure goodness except for this little six year old angel.

What makes her even sweeter is she is a therapy dog. She has spent countless hours at peoples bedsides during their last hours and works with autistic children. Just the sweetest thing really, she liked being picked up like a baby. J had to physically remove me from her. I regrouped and dove into my cake batter like a pig in poop. What a sweet day in Sydney.

Anuk

Meet our newest addition Anuk!! She is only ours for two weeks, Maple and Lily are loving having the extra friend to play with. No, I am not getting any crazy ideas to get a third dog, simply because that third dog adds an extra half hour of cleaning everyday. The fur in this house is crazy! It has been a rainy week and the mess on the floors from these cuties is atrocious. I pretty much gave up the need to have a clean house this week. The mess has won the battle.

Poor puppies

Both of my poor dogs are hurting units. We went and got Maple spayed last Tuesday so we have been watching her like a hawk to ensure she isn't licking at her sutures. I even put an old t-shirt on her at night so I know she can't get at it.  It has been so hard not being able to take both of my pups for walks as we are normally so active but I wanted Maple to heal as fast as possible. The past couple of days I noticed there was a bump forming at the top of her incision. I thought it was just part of the healing process. But, yesterday it started to puss at the bottom of her incision. The vet was traveling to our town on Tuesday but I didn't want to wait until then just in case the infection got worse. The vet gave me a topical cream to apply twice a day to help fight the infection. She has three layers of sutures and her body isn't breaking them down. I really hope they don't have to re-operate.

An hour after Maple and I got home, Maple, Lily and I were soaking up the rays on the back deck. Lily, was being such a good girl so I took her off her leash and she passed out on my lap. She heard something and went bolting off into the woods. I couldn't find her anywhere and kept calling out to her. I called J for moral support and then I heard these blood curdling cries coming from the woods.... my Lily. I followed the sounds and found her immobile and bleeding. She has some punctures on her left side from a coyote or another dog. She is pretty traumatized and has been shaking all night, she is having a hard time using both hind legs, poor thing. Needless to say another vet trip is in order tomorrow morning.

Doggy Fashion

I have been so consumed thinking about what I am going to be wearing for all of my fun wedding events I didn't even think about my poor dogthers!!! How selfish of me?

Check out Rover Dog on Etsy. Oh my gosh is there ever some cute finds. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think of dressing up a dog.... that is until I got one. It's my fix until I have human babies to dress up. J is going to kill me if he reads this. hahaha!! Sorry love.

I need to get these 2 outfits!! I think clothes look even more ridiculous on bigger dogs then little ones, so I think Mapes will just have to just wear a pretty bow. But Lilitth, oh she needs these!

Pathetic? yes! But soooo cute!!!

Since both of my pups are beach babes I probably should get them matching bathing suits. Or is that over doing it? haha

I fell in love with Cassie

 The next day Rosie took me to her sisters to give me a break from being nurse. We went over to her sisters house where they had a sisters valentines party. Lots of laughs and food!! Didn't capture too many pictures, mostly just of the dog Bruin and sweet little Zoey.
