With all of this exciting talk of pregnancy, I didn't finish off my wedding posts!! There isn't many left but I left out one of my fave parts. The dances!!
My cousin Rhianna Rae Saj sang Simple As it Should Be by Tristan Prettyman. She modified a couple of the lyrics to fit J & I better. It was perfect. I have always LOVED this song. Jon and my relationship is totally as simple as it should be. Well we seem to surround ourselves with chaos, we are always busy with something but our love is simple. We are bestfriends and we get to spend forever together. Lucky us.
And then there was the Father/Daughter dance. My dad didn't pick a song for us so I played every slow song on my ipod and could not, for the life of me, find one that was fitting. I went on youtube and by fluke found Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman. I thought it was perfect for my daddy and I, but I also knew we are both sensitive messes and this could be dangerous. I was right, we were blubbering messes. As was my brother as you will note in the background.

Iced
When my photographer asked us what kind of wedding I was planning I quickly responded with "An outdoor wedding, with stunning views. I want it to be romantic, charming, fun, and to be a total gongshow." I got exactly what I wanted. This is exactly what it was.
I had talked about being Iced here, but here are the shots our photographer captured during the dinner.

Clink!
I don't love the "clinking of the glass" for a kiss, wedding tradition. When I was little I thought it was so hilarious and fun. But now that I am a very WISE adult, I think it's tacky and gets annoying real quick. We knew if we didn't come up with a kissing game the glasses would start clinking the moment we sat down at the head table as husband and wife. We totally called it, before the MC had a chance to explain "the kiss" the clinking had filled the room. Doug quickly starightened everything out. You must kiss a disgustingly fishy tasting lobster and then take a shot of Screech. I though people were going to totally shy away from that idea, but J & I ended up kissing every five minutes. My lips were actually getting sore from all of our smooching. I absolutely loved these pictures captured by the photographer.
J thought he would mix it up and get our parents to kiss. However, they made it even more twisted it by doing a group kiss. Soooo funny.

Details
I have already posted waaaay to many wedding posts and I have a couple more to go... sorrrrryyy! I just love going over some of the special moments/details that our beautiful day was filled with. A year of planning and excitement ends too quickly in just one day. My girlfriend is getting married in a couple of weeks and I feel bad, but I find some of the stuff she is stressing about to be hilarious, because I was stressed about the same little details. No body notices or cares what colour your candy bags are or if your paper lanterns perfectly match a ribbon. We work ourselves up soooo much, when everyone just wants to spend time with you and CeLeBRaTE!!!! You're guests won't give a shit! I promise!! and if they do, they are crazy, and you probably shouldn't like them :p.
